Worst movie in my memory. Even Yaadein was better. The 7.5 rating on IMDB is a joke and I personally think that it does not even deserve a 2!

Some brilliant scenes -

So later this week, we’re going to use our defensive portfolio to respond to Network Appliance, filing a comprehensive reciprocal suit. As a part of this suit, we are requesting a permanent injunction to remove all of their filer products from the marketplace, and are examining the original NFS license – on which Network Appliance was started. By opting to litigate vs. innovate, they are disrupting their customers and employees across the world.

In addition to seeking the removal of their products from the marketplace, we will be going after sizable monetary damages. And I am committing that Sun will donate half of those proceeds to the leading institutions promoting free software and patent reform (in specific, The Software Freedom Law Center and the Peer to Patent initiative), and to the legal defense of free software innovators.

To be fair, NetApp says Sun sued first and they responded. But what I like about the whole saga is the intelligent use of his blog by JS. He manages to convince you that the are all good and NetApps all evil.

Go Jonathan. You rock boy!

Some updates on stuff that happened while I was gone.

1. Most important – revived a friendship I think. Hope that this time it works better.
2. Misra got promoted – Yay! I bet he has to treat.
3. It is confirmed that Debo broke his leg.
4. My knee is healing up.
5. Albus Dumbledore is gay – Great!! Now I feel so weird about being rated as closest to Dumbledore on that Facebook app!! Maybe it is time to bid it farewell.
6. Rediff copies the article blatantly – or almost. I know they do mention LA Times in passing, but try to pull off the whole thing as theirs! (removed after an email and IM discussion with Ojas and Amit Varma)

Also, an update on me. I am doing much better than before, and I would think that the knee is healing well. Thanks for all the emails and SMSes.

Two accidents in three months, and none due to my mistake. Shit!

Anyways I am stuck at home, thankfully though, with a friend [Debo], also injured in an accident, with a bad knee. Its healing well and I hope to be back in action soon. Meanwhile, my posting frequency might go down a bit.
